Students read a brochure about disease prevention and create a poster promoting one disease prevention point.

Materials

• Art Supplies such as markers, glue, magazines (for pictures), etc.
• 11 x 14 pieces of paper
• Copy of the brochure for each student in group

Student will read and comprehend the disease prevention brochure. They will then create a poster on one of the points to present to the class.

• The student will present his/her poster and explain the concept.

Have a peer read and discuss the brochure with a student with special needs.
