FACS: The Sewing Machine (Textiles)

    Background For Teachers:
    Demonstrate how to thread the sewing machine. Identify the various parts of the machine and explain what they do.

    Intended Learning Outcomes:
    Knowledge of how to thread a sewing machine. Be able to identify the parts of the sewing machine.

    Instructional Procedures:
    After demonstrating how to thread the sewing machine and explaining its parts and their purposes, have the students complete the activities.
