Instructional Procedures

Review Rosa Parks story from previous lesson Read aloud "Martin's Big Words" Discuss why Dr King is important to U.S. History View YouTube clip of "I Have a Dream Speech" Class Brainstorms ways to help others in their community. Students independently write about their own personal dream for a better world.

Students create a writing and drawing piece about their own dream for the world. They share their writing with the class.
