Instructional Procedures

Note: All materials are available on the website listed on the materials tab. The lesson starts with the pre-assessment, then the teacher presents the powerpoint lesson properties_of_identity_and_equality.ppt to the class as a large group. The students then explore the websites "Classifying numbers" and "Properties of real numbers" using ipads. Homework is hw_identity_and_equality_properties.pdf


Strategies for Diverse Learners

struggling students may use study_guide_indentity_and_equality.pdf as homework.


Extensions

A video of the lesson is downloadable and may be posted on the class website for review by students outside the classroom.
