Background for Teachers

Students will go to the web site Skulls Unlimited. Click on EDUCATION and answer the following questions. These traits or characteristics help the animal to survive.

From this web site you can buy many different kinds of skulls at a good price. It will also give you some good background information to use.


Instructional Procedures

  1. Hold up a skull and ask for the students to tell you about it. The bigger the skull the better.
  2. Hand out the worksheet and work on completing the work.
  3. Have the students look at least 5 skulls before they pick one to sketch. This should be their best effort and in pencil.
