Strand 2
Students will identify growth and development.
(Standards may be integrated into each developmental age under Strands 4 and 5.)
Standard 2
Identify the characteristics of selected developmental theories.
 
  • Developmental Theorists
    Children grow at individual rates. However, the sequence of development is generally the same for all children. Many theorists have discovered a great deal concerning how children develop. Their theories add insight and information to the study of child development.
  • Erikson and Disabilities
    Using PowerPoint presentations, explore how personality develops and how disabilities affect a personality.
