She's a student producer for the FEMME program (Females Empowered by Movie Making Experiences), championing women's representation both in front of and behind the camera. For our filmmaker spotlight, we have Jerusha Hess, the writer/director known for Austenland (2013), the cult classic Napoleon Dynamite (2004) and most recently, the Academy Award-nominated short film Ninety-Five Senses (2023). Join us as we explore their journeys and the impact they are making on the film industry.
