Animal Homes

Animal Homes Beaver lodges. Prairie dog burrows. Rabbit warrens. Bee hives. These are all homes that animals build to protect themselves and their young from predators and the weather. In order for animals to survive, they need food, water, and a safe place to live and raise their young.

Using the following animal internet sites, match each animal to the kind of home in which it lives.


Each of the animals in the table below lives in one of these kinds of homes. Write the 10 kinds of homes on a piece of paper. Select 15 of the 30 animals from the table below and write it beside the home in which it lives.
