Letter P Activities

 

  • Download the Letter P Pack and do a letter sort or another activity.
  • Using the large letter P template have your child glue on any of the following items:  
    Pasta
    Peanuts
    Popcorn
    Pretzels
  • Find pink and purple craft supplies (pom poms, beads, buttons, pipe cleaners, etc) and allow children to create a collage of pink and purple objects.
  • Have your child(ren) count all of the pink and purple items they can find in your environment.
  • Set up a safe space for children to practice pouring activities.
  • Fnd coins and sort out all the pennies. Have children line them up and touch as they count them in order.
  • Help your child complete a puzzle. Teach them how to look at the cover of the box or an image of the complete puzzle for clues.
  • Have your child print their name three times with a purple crayon. Trace the name with a pink crayon. You can also create a pink and purple pattern of their names. 
  • Teach your child to say “please” and “thank you”. Discuss and role play situations when they could use these words.
  • Read and act out the story of the 3 pigs.
