A service contract allows for UETN to provide full technical support of IVC devices deployed on the network. Support includes access to our tech support phone line, troubleshooting and identifying problems, software updates, and equipment replacement (RMA).
UETN recommends a three-year service contract be included with the purchase of all new IVC codec devices. At the end of the original three-year contract, UETN will negotiate a renewal of the state maintenance contract and will bill the LEA for the cost of the annual renewal on their equipment. If your device is not under a current contract, UETN cannot provide technical assistance, request a replacement, or provide updates until the contract is paid.
