THE MAGIC CANOE transports our travelers and young campers from Camp Manitou to breathtaking and unforgettable places where they will experience marvelous adventures in a world where animals and plants can talk! Meet Aunt Viola, the fearless Max, Tibo and their friends Julie, Pam and Nico at Camp Manitou, which is the starting point of many beautiful adventures and extraordinary day trips!THE MAGIC CANOE is a series for the 5-7 year old's, filled with humor and adventure, allowing young viewers to discover the wonders of natural sciences as well as offering them life lessons.

  • Nico and His Sticky Friend

    Nico doesn't want to make an herbarium with Pam, or candy with Julie and Viola, and he bothers Max and Tibo by insisting that they play with him while they are busy! Whew! He insists a lot on playing with him and seems completely insensitive to the fact that his repeated requests can become painful for those around him. It's only in the comical adventure, meeting Gobichon, a busy opossum, that Nico will understand that it's true that sometimes people have other things to do than play and that it's unpleasant to be continually disturbed by someone when you're busy.

    Julie has a tendency to "borrow" other people's things without asking permission. During the comical adventure she meets Bernard, a little raccoon who has the annoying habit of doing the same thing. When she returns from the adventure, Julie promises to always ask permission before taking something that doesn't belong to her.

She then finds the motivation she needs to cross a suspension bridge. After passing this test, Pam feels proud and more able to take on challenges. That's why, when she comes back to camp, she no longer hesitates and confidently launches herself into the zip line course.

    Max, Tibo and the kids go on a picnic in British Columbia. When the travelers realize that they are missing a paddle, this forces them to spend the night and the kids have to build shelters. Pam, who took her time to build her shelter, was slower than Julie and Nico, who took their time to play before getting down to work. In the end, Pam made a very comfortable shelter, while Nico and Julie, stuck in time, made a quick shelter that was neither waterproof nor comfortable. The funny adventure taught the children that speed is not always the best attribute. Because sometimes it helps to take your time to make something.
  • Nico Doesn't Like to Lose

Pam considers the tunnel dangerous, but is afraid of losing the dog's friendship if she reveals her secret. In the end, driven by her sense of worry, she decides to tell the dog's older sister and break the secret. We will then see that Pam did the right thing: she felt worried and spoke up.
