UEN-TV is operated by the Utah Education Network. Our goal is to educate, engage, and enrich the lives of Utah residents through broadcast programs and services.
Set in the expansive landscapes of the American Southwest, this documentary series follows Clarence, a Hualapai man, as he shares stories and traditions with the camera, not only to preserve the past, but also to guide the future. At its heart, the show is a generational offering: elders, storytellers, Hualapai bird singers, Plateau dancers, and community leaders come together to pass down language, ceremony, and wisdom to the next generation.
Weaving together storytellers and elders, Hualapai bird singers, dancers of the Plateau, Middle Mountain Pa'a, and Yavapai Fighters as they share language, song, and the living history of today. With Grand Canyon West, Louise Benson, Floranda Powskey, Clarence Gonzales, Shaileen Gonzales, and Flora and Roderick Selana.
