"If this is the end of the world, then what do we do?" This is the question at the heart of 18-year-old Joshua Wright's three-year quest for an answer. Begun when he was 15, living as an expat, this film follows Joshua on his journey into the environmental movement. He interviews people in Australia, the UK, Italy, Thailand, and the US, including climate scientists, economists, frontline activists, and thought leaders, as they reckon with the environmental Armageddon his generation was born into and seek a way out. This film explores complex subjects, but Joshua refuses to give in to despair. Says one young forest activist and tree sitter, "If we're all gonna die anyway, I'd rather spend the last bit of time fighting for what I believe in than just mourning...And direct action is the most fun thing I've ever done."
