This is the first lesson plan in a three lesson sequence on building individual reading interest and engaging students in reading.
Personal reading experiences.
Students will become aware of their reading preferences, habits, strengths, weaknesses, and attitudestheir Reader Identity.
Allow 20 to 30 minutes for students to fill out the Interests and Reading Survey. Allow time for students to share responses with one another.
