Emery Telelcom Planned Outage: 2015-05-13 @ 2:00 AM Description: Emery Telcom will be performing firmware updates on our core routers on the morning of May 15th, 2015 between 2:00am and 4:30am in order to apply security patches and bug fixes aimed at improving network stability.

San Juan POP: 2015-05-19 @ 11:00 AM Description: We have sent a replacement card en route to San Juan. No ETA at this time, but will update soon.
Update: Service has been restored for the moment, but should be considered degraded. After school hours, the hardware will be replaced to permanently fix the problem.
Update: This maintenance completed at 5:39 PM. Impact: The San Juan District and schools terminating at the San Juan POP are currently down due to possible hardware failure.
SLCC UPS Maintenance: 2015-05-21 @ 11:00 PM Description: UEN will be performing UPS maintenance at the Salt Lake Community College POP site. This maintenance includes some relocation of hardware and will require that the UPS be offline for the duration of the maintenance.

Update: This maintenance completed at 12:55 AM. Impact: The SLCC location will have it's UPS serviced and re-located to accommodate changes at the site.
No service impact is expected because all critical devices located at the site have redundant power. There is however a chance that some services could be offline during this maintenance.
SLCC POP Outage: 2015-05-21 @ 11:15 PM Description: UEN has experienced an unexpected outage as a result of the scheduled UPS maintenance this evening.
More details will come soon.
Update: This outage was resolved at 12:52 AM. Impact: The outage took ALL services connected to or through the SLCC POP offline for approximately 25 minutes.

Outage: An observed outage, not scheduled.
Normal: A planned outage, 24 hours in advance.
Urgent: A planned outage, 12 hours in advance
Emergency: Immediate outage required
Third Party Maintenance: A planned outage performed by an organization other than UEN
