UEN operates one of the only networks in the country that connects every public K-12 and higher education institution statewide, making it a unique and vital component of our digital infrastructure.

Through strategic partnerships with multiple internet service providers (ISPs) and bulk purchasing, UEN achieves exceptional performance and substantial cost savings for its connected organizations across the state.

UEN’s robust network infrastructure includes nine diverse external paths through four geographically distinct locations, ensuring uninterrupted service and high network reliabliity. As a member of Internet2, a national research and education network, UEN connects Utah’s education community to leading organizations nationwide, supporting everyday educational needs and advanced research initiatives.
