Description: The SSL certificate on UEN's Identity Server is expiring soon. I will be replacing the cert on Tuesday, March 17 at 4:00 PM. The outage will last just long enough to restart the Identity Service and test it. If anything goes wrong we will revert back to the old cert and reschedule. Update: This maintenance completed at 4:27 PM.
Impact: From 4:00 PM until 4:15 PM, users may not be able to log in to eMedia. There are other internal services that may be affected. Targeted emails have been sent to the internal users affected by this maintenance. - Earthquake along the Wasatch Front: 2020-03-18 @ 7:05 AM
Description: UETN is tracking some minor outages attributed to the seismic event this morning. The UETN backbone appears to be up and fully functional at the moment. Some sites are offline, and most of those appear to be power related. UETN is monitoring the situation closely and will update this outage notification as developments occur. Update: A preliminary assessment of the network has been completed. All sites currently impacted are confirmed power-related issues. We will be shifting to check out POP related sites to ensure there are no issues that require extra attention. --TROY Update: POP site initial assessments indicate that there are no pending issues, all sites are operating normally at this time. More updates to come. --TROY Update: This outage was resolved at 11:23 AM.
Impact: Some sites along the wasatch front are offline. Backbone is stable at the moment. - BYU to DDC fiber maintenance: 2020-03-19 @ 11:55 PM
Description: Clint Jorgenson with HORROCKS along someone from Centracom will MEET UETN at Hub-5 this Thursday March 19, at Midnight. They’re going to test the fibre path from the DDC to Centracom’s new building, (next to Hub-5). The next test will take place, Hub-5 to an American Fork Hub then BYU. UETN may not test the path going south if the db. loss is located? Brad Miller with UETN will inform his guys with the exact times for each location. The Invite has been sent out, Jesse with UETN will send the Outage Notice. Update: This maintenance completed on time.

Description: UETN Field Engineering and Network Engineering will be upgrading the hardware for SL CAP Head Start at their main aggregation site which is the Shriver building. Update: This maintenance completed at 12:02 AM.
Impact: This maintenance will impact the entire SL CAP Head Start network as the aggregation equipment to the UETN backbone as well as to all of the end site locations are being replaced.
