Centracom Outage: 2017-05-02 @ 11:30 AM Description: Centracom is currently experiencing network issues and is looking into the root cause
Update: Centracom has restored network services and all services should be back up and passing traffic

Century Link Maintenance - Provo Area: 2017-05-02 @ 11:00 PM Description: Part 1: Century Link will be troubleshooting an OC192 card in the provo area.
Part 2: They will ALSO be troubleshooting a card that serves the backbone link between UVU (Orem) and RDC(Richfield)
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: Part 1 impact: This will affect the Provo and Juab school districts
Part 2 impact: Network redundancy should prevent any service interruption.
Installation of new network device at Dixie POP: 2017-05-04 @ 11:00 PM Description: UEN will be installing a new device to provide additional port density at the Dixie Pop.
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This maintenance completed at 11:18 PM. Impact: There will be momentary interruptions as several connections are moved to a different port. This will include an MPLS circuit to the UofU, Tuacahn Arts charter school, and St. George Academy, the Dixie peering router, and two UEN servers.
Center 7 Switch Reload: 2017-05-04 @ 11:00 PM Description: UEN needs to reboot the Center 7 switch to try and re-establish management connectivity to the device.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: The switch reboot will briefly impact backbone traffic between the UVU and DDC POP locations, however other backbone links will be available to handle the traffic load during this time so no down time is expected.
Centurylink Line Card in Alarm Impacting Wasatch and Park City School Districts: 2017-05-06 @ 9:20 AM Description: Centurylink Line Card in Alarm
Update: This outage was resolved at 2:33 PM. Impact: Impacting TenGig link from EBC to UVU also Wasatch and Park City School Districts. Centurylink tech is in route no ETR provided.

EBC Firewall upgrades: 2017-05-12 @ 11:00 PM Description: All,
We've experienced some intermittent bgp session drops with our virtual environment that's servicing UEN-KUED-KUEN web/radio and other UEN services. This maintenance is allowing us to upgrade our Firewalls to the latest code rev to see if these issues will resolve. These drops are occurring more and more frequently than we'd like so instead of upgrading next week we are pushing the upgrade to tonight to try and resolve these problems asap.

Update: This outage was resolved at 4:37 AM. Impact: UEN-KUED-KUEN web/radio and other UEN services will be available for the most part but could have unstable and intermittent drops throughout the maintenance. This should go fairly unnoticeable to the end-user but may need to refresh, etc.
