Ghost Riders and Rest Stops Packet B

EAST RUSH VALLEY STATION

Dear Students,

East Rush Valley Station was 12 miles from Camp Floyd. It was located on a dusty, windswept flat, far from the nearest water. When it was first established, East Rush Valley Station was an essential stop. Originally the stage road turned northwest, crossed Rush Valley to Johnson's Pass, and went down its west slope into Skull Valley. It was soon replaced with a shortcut across the sand dunes.
