Core Standards of the Course
STRAND 1
Students will use and enhance skills learned in Digital Graphic Arts Intro and Digital Media 1.
Standard 1
Apply skills learned in Digital Graphic Arts Intro and Digital Media 1 and new advanced techniques.
Standard 2
Review and apply principles and elements of visual design.
Standard 3
Follow their AUP, Fair Use guidelines, and copyright law.
Performance Skills
Students will create planning documents such as a script and storyboard.
STRAND 2
Students will create a 3D graphic and be introduced to animation.

Students will produce a complete audio project.

Students will learn and follow the process of planning, designing, creating digital assets, evaluating, revising, and publishing interactive digital media projects.

STRAND 5
Students will create an interactive digital media portfolio for digital delivery which showcases a student's projects, work, and skills. Projects included can be created individually or as a team member.

Students will produce digital portfolio in combination with their work from Digital Graphic Arts Intro that demonstrates the students' abilities in 2D raster and vector graphics, animation, audio, video, group work and leadership.

Students will be able to understand and practice copyright laws, ethics, and legal issues as identified in the United States Code Title 17 Chapter 1 Section 101.
Standard 1
Define copyright, public domain, fair use, creative commons, and ethics.

Practice ethics and rules governing digital media work.
