Lesson Plans

Strand: PRESENT (L1.E.P.)

Students will analyze, interpret, refine and select artistic work for presentation. They will convey meaning in the manner in which the art is presented (Standards L1.E.P.1-6).

Standard L1.E.P.2:

Demonstrate progression in artistic, design, technical, and soft skills, as a result of selecting and fulfilling specified roles in the production of a variety of media artworks.

• Make Art Inspired by Frida Kahlo and Mexico
  Students learn to use Google Sheets to make pixel art inspired by Frida Kahlo and Mexico.
• The Rule of Thirds, Framing, and Leading Lines in Photography
  This lesson is created and intended for a photography or digital media course at the 7-9 grade level. This lesson teaches students about composition techniques to help improve their photographic compositions. This lesson is interactive, using Nearpod Presentations to teach the main concept.
