Strand 3

Students will recognize the functions and purposes of responsible dating.

Standard 3

Identify the dangers of physical intimacy during dating.
  • Dating Responsibly (Funnels)
    To help students understand not only the benefits of abstinence and fidelity, but the responsibilities of sexual behaviors.
  • Responsible Sexual Behavior, Teen Pregnancy & STIs
    Students will learn about responsible sexual behavior, teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.
  • STDs (Dat)
    This lesson will help students be aware of the different types of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and their symptoms. This is part of the Dating Unit.
  • Teen Pregnancy (Dat)
    This lesson will help students understand the consequences of teen pregnancy. It is part of the Dating Unit.
