Strand 4

Students will identify the aspects and importance of marriage preparation and examine behaviors that strengthen marital and family relationships.
  • Adult Roles State Test 313 Review
    Students will complete assignments for state test #311 and review for the test.
  • Marital Adjustments
    During a classroom PowerPoint presentation, activities, and a discussion, the students will discuss the importance of marital adjustments during marriage.
  • Marital Conflict Resolution
    During a classroom PowerPoint presentation, activities, and a discussion, the students will understand the importance of marital conflicts and the skills to resolve the conflicts.
  • Marital Conflict Resolution
    Students will be able to identify common adjustments and methods of conflict resolution as related to marriage and apply conflict resolution and problem-solving strategies to resolve common scenarios of marital conflict including financial issues.
  • Marriage Unit
    This unit includes the following lessons:
    1. Honeymoon
    2. Marital Adjustments
    3. Needs and Expectations
    4. Conflict Resolution
    5. Strong Marriage
  • Personal Needs and Expectations
    During a classroom PowerPoint presentation, activities, and discussion students will discuss the importance of personal needs and expectations.
