Strand 1

Students will demonstrate professional design presentation techniques

Standard 1

Students will practice various methods of interior design presentation.
  • Dream House
    Students will complete a collage depicting what they would like in their Dream House.
  • Greeting Card
    A fun, interesting and hands-on approach to reinforce picture mounting skills and standard block lettering.
  • Picture Portfolio
    Students will find and collect a portfolio of pictures that they can use throughout the trimester on a variety of assignments.
  • Presentation Methods
    The introduction and practice of lettering rules and picture-mounting guidelines that will be followed by the students for the rest of the term.
  • Presentation Techniques Board
    This lesson provides students with an opportunity to review and practice previously learned skills in picture and sample mounting, labeling and display board creation.
