Represent and solve problems involving addition and subtraction within 20 (Standards 1-2, 5-6). Understand and apply properties of operations and the relationship between addition and subtraction (Standards 3-4). Work with addition and subtraction equations (Standards 7-8).

  • 1st Grade Lesson Ideas: Code & Go Mouse
    This is a list of potential ideas based off a specific technology. None of these ideas are fully developed lessons. Please make changes and adaptations as necessary for the students in your class.
  • The Doubling Pot (Picture Book Library)
    This lesson is written using the Launch, Explore, Summarize lesson plan format and includes a link to a chart to anticipate student strategies and monitor student strategies and thinking as they work through the problems. Tasks also include a recording sheet where applicable. They are meant to be used as ideas. Please make changes and adaptations as necessary for the students in your class.
