Students will appraise the personal value of physical activity as a tool for wellness, challenges, and interacting with appropriate social skills with friends and family.
Students understand that physical activity provides the opportunity for enjoyment, challenges, self-expression, and social interaction.

Standard G7.5.5

Explain the social benefits that result from team and dual sport participation
  • Basketball Lesson Plan
    In this lesson plan, educators will teach their students to dribble a ball while moving and simple close range shots. Students will also team up and play a game of horse.
  • Tennis Lesson Plan
    In this lesson plan, educators will learn to teach their students proper racket grip technique and strokes in a 60 minute lesson.
