Clifford's Interactive Storybooks
Contains several storybooks starring Clifford, the Big Red Dog. Each line of the book can be read to students. Students have the opportunity to select a word for several sentences.
This is a Houghton Mifflin site. The words correspond with the units, however, you wouldn't have to follow the Houghton Mifflin program exactly because it is simple enough for students to do. Teacher may want to read the clues.
Into the Book: Teacher Area
Into the Book is a rich resource for teaching and learning reading comprehension in grades K-4. Organized around eight key strategies, the website offers videos and interactive activities for students while providing short PD videos, lesson plans, and other resources for teachers.
