• American Indians 101 - Frequently Asked Questions
  This website includes maps and information on each tribe. It also has links to office of Indian Affairs--Utah. It also answers frequently asked questions such as, "Which term is more appropriate to use, American Indian or Native American?"
• Bryce Canyon National Park: Hoodoos Cast Their Spell
  By looking at Bryce Canyon National Park: Hoodoos Cast Their Spell, students explore why and how the geological wonders of Utah's Bryce Canyon were set aside for public enjoyment in the early 20th century. Students describe the formations that deterred settlement and encouraged tourism in Bryce Canyon and examine how it was used by settlers, scientists, government agencies, and tourists.
• Cultural Contributions
  This program introduces students to the field of archeology and its role in preserving our human past. Students experiment with making cordage, rock art, and pottery. Students learn how to enjoy archeological sites without damaging them and are introduced to some of the threats to preserving past cultures, such as vandalism of archeological living sites and rock art.

  This map of Utah includes National Parks and Monuments and some State Parks.
• Natural History Museum of Utah
  Visit this web site to learn about the museum's current exhibits and their permanent collections.
• NPS: Golden Spike National Historic Site
  Golden Spike National Historic Site commemorates the completing of this nation's first transcontinental railroad which ended at Promontory, Utah.
• U.S. Census Bureau: Utah Fact Sheet:
  American Fact Finder has information about the state population including ethnic breakdown by percent and area. It also provides information about family size and income.
• Utah Counties
  This site provides interesting facts, a short history, photos, and supportive web links for each county in Utah.
• Utah National Parks
  Check out Utah's five National Parks and all the things that can be learned from them.
