Summary

The students will choose one box from each category and write a RAFT about the event.


Materials


Instructional Procedures

  1. Ask for a volunteer and have them choose a state of matter. The student will then "behave" for 15 seconds as that particle. Have them choose the second state of matter and behave as that particle. Have the student explain the experience.
  2. Hand out the student sheet. Use an overhead to explain if the students need help.
  3. Give the students 20 minutes to write.
  4. In groups of four have the students read theirs out loud and as a group choose the best one. This can then be read to the class.
