Description: UVU is working with a vendor (TBS) to replace the data center floor panels at the Heber (Wasatch) campus on Thursday & Friday next week April 4th & 5th. We do not anticipate any outages or issues during this time. The old floor panels are de-laminating and damaged. Work will begin around noon on Thursday and should be complete by Friday afternoon. Description: Several links between EBC and DDC have been cut. Also there are circuits between EBC and Level 3 and EBC and UVW. Update: UEN field crews and local city authorities are working together to discover the exact location of the fiber cut and coordinate the repair. The situation is ongoing and we will provide more updates as they come in. NOTE: The EBC<-->LV3 and EBC<-->UVW outages were false positives, those backbone links are up and passing traffic. Update: Update: Fiber Splicing to begin at 9PM. Current ETR is 4 AM. Update: This outage was resolved at 4:17 AM.
Impact: The links are redundant and data is routing past the down links, but there is the possibility of lower bandwidth issues and local outages, specifically at the U. Update Note: Sites that may be impacted that are currently known are Utah Board of Regents, and the University of Utah. UVW may also be impacted. The links are a 40 GB link between EBC and Level 3 and a 40 GB link between EBC and DDC. There also appears to be a link to UVW as well. Description: Utah Power will be repairing equipment between Marysvale to Panguitch starting at 11:00 PM. Sites in the Southwest area of the state may be affected. The ETR is before 6:00 AM. Update: ETR updated to 8:00 AM. Sites currently known to be impacted are : Garfield School District Paiute- Circleville Elem Paiute- Oscarson Elem Paiute- Headstart and Sr. Center UTN- Panguitch Dental. Update: This outage was resolved at 6:34 AM.
Impact: Sites may be directly affected by power outage, as well as those connected to sites that lose power.

Outage: An observed outage, not scheduled.
Normal: A planned outage, 24 hours in advance.
Urgent: A planned outage, 12 hours in advance

Third Party Maintenance: A planned outage performed by an organization other than UEN
