Weathermap Outage: 2021-05-10 @ 9:00 AM Description: UETN's Weathermap tool is currently unavailable and is undergoing some back end changes.
Update: This outage was resolved on time. Impact: Thank you for your patience as we work on this. We expect it to be back up and reachable by next week.
Update firmware on Cube routers: 2021-05-13 @ 10:30 PM Description: The software on the UCM SIP CUBE's needs a upgrade to support call manager 12.5

Web Hosting patching: 2021-05-13 @ 8:00 PM Description: Server patching and restarts.

Software upgrade on EBC SIP Cube: 2021-05-14 @ 6:00 PM Description: The NOC will be performing a code upgrade on the EBC Sip Cube. This will require several reloads of the device.
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This outage was resolved at 6:45 PM. Impact: All SIP traffic is running through DDC, so no phone service should be interrupted.
UEN Network Outage: 2021-05-17 @ 9:15 AM Description: UEN is experiencing a network outage affecting several customers. We are investigating the issue and will provide more information as it becomes available.
Update: The root cause has been isolated to a failed piece of hardware on a third party provider's node. We have engaged that provider and they are working on replacing the hardware. No ETR at this time. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
Update: The failed hardware is scheduled to be replaced ASAP, there is expected an ETR of 11:00am - 11:30am.
Update: We are seeing most services restoring from this outage. We will continue to monitor the affected links and provide a final closure soon.

DDC sip CUBE code upgrade: 2021-05-20 @ 10:30 PM Description: we are going to upgrade the software on the DDC sip CUBE.

Update: This maintenance completed at 11:00 PM. Impact: the DDC CUBE will not be taking calls during to upgrade
WSU Area outage effecting many districts, charters, and libraries: 2021-05-20 @ 1:45 AM Description: AT around 1:45am we lost one of our main 100gig backbone links between USU and WSU. WSU has two hundred 100gig backbone links going to it and is still accessible through the link that is up. However, there are also a number of districts, charters, and libraries which come off of our WSU device which also came down at the same time. These sites are all on Lumen/Clink circuits which come off of WSU, and their individual interfaces are showing down (WSU is still routing traffic correctly through its remaining 100gig link).
Update: Centurylink/Lumen has been contacted and they do see alarms on their equipment.
They are investigating and there is currently not an ETR.
Update: Update: due to lack of updates/slow handling by lumen this issue has been escalated to our lumen regional service manager contact. A technician has been dispatched and should be on-site at the failure shortly.
Correction: Our equipment at WSU is comprised of two backbone devices with 4 100gig backbone links. 3 of these 100gig links are still up. Many of the sites and the 100gig link which are down are related to a failure in Lumen/CLink equipment.
Update: Update: 5:57am -- technician has arrived on-site and has identified that an optical amplifier card has failed -- technician is in process of active repair.
