Lesson Plans

Strand: RESPOND (L2.E.R.)

Students will understand, evaluate, and articulate how works of art convey meaning for the observer as well as the creator (Standards L2.E.R.1-4).

Standard L2.E.R.3:

Analyze the intent, meanings, and influence of a variety of media artworks, based on personal, societal, historical, and cultural contexts.
  • DIGITAL STORYTELLING
After listening to, and discussing the various elements of podcasts, students will have the opportunity to employ what they've learned by planning, developing, and producing their own podcasts. This is a culminating project that will happen at the end of the PODCAST Unit. This will take up classes 5 through 10 in a 10 class unit and will take approximately 7 hours of work time to complete. While this lesson could be asynchronous or synchronous, the greatest successes would take place in the classroom with face to face instruction and the provided materials for production.  Photo by Harry Cunningham @harry.digital from Pexels: https://www.pexels.com/photo/close-up-shot-of-a-podcasting-gadgets-7383471/
