Summary

Students will learn basic concepts surrounding Cyber Bullying.
Students will then produce a Tee shirt idea about Cyber Bullying.


Materials


Intended Learning Outcomes

  • Students will be aware of Cyber Bullying
  • Students will have a working definition of Cyber Bullying
  • Student can identify ways to avoid Cyber Bullying
  • Students can determine ways to deal with Cyber Bullying if it happened to them


Instructional Procedures

Instructor will pass out the Cyber Bullying Quiz and allow students time to take it. Have each student correct his own quiz and go over the correct answers in class.

Does Cyber Bullying go on at our school?

Pass out and briefly review the Cyber Bullying Fact Sheet.

Pass out the Tee Shirt Design template and ask the students to use the colored pencils or markers to design a tee shirt about Cyber Bullying that is informative and / or preventative.

Tee shirts should be graded on effort and ideas, not solely on art work.

Before gathering the designs at the end of class, ask students if anyone would like to share their design with the rest of the class. Discuss some good ideas and what they have learned today about Cyber Bullying.


Assessment Plan

Evaluate the Design a Tee Shirt assignment.
Include questions on Cyber Bullying on the unit end quiz.
