Summary

This lesson will help students complete a personal wardrobe analysis to assess what is owned, what to eliminate, and what needs and wants they have.


Materials


Background for Teachers

The "Wardrobe Inventory List" needs to be passed out a week in advance so the other assignments can be completed.


Student Prior Knowledge

Students need to complete the "Wardrobe Inventory List."


Intended Learning Outcomes

Students will complete a personal wardrobe e analysis to assess what is owned, select what to eliminate and determine needs and wants.


Instructional Procedures

Students need to complete the "Wardrobe Inventory List" in advance. (Give them at least a week.) Hand out the Wardrobe Planning Steps handout to students and go over the Power Point Presentation on Wardrobe Planning. Discuss with the students the information and have them use their Inventory List as they fill out the handout. Introduce the Cluster Assignment and have them work on it till the end of class. They will have the next day to complete their Cluster Drawings.


Extensions

Look for videos on wardrobe planning.


Assessment Plan

Students will turn in their Inventory and Wardrobe Planning Steps. Students will complete a Cluster for their wardrobe.
