Need to know how to work iMovies and Educreations. Need to know to develop and maintain healthy relationships


Student Prior Knowledge

Need to know

  • Components of healthy relationships.
  • Determine healthy ways to accept, manage, and adapt to changes in relationships (e.g., loss, grief, coping).
  • Develop strategies to manage inappropriate or harmful comments and advances from others (e.g. bullying, cyber-bullying, sexual harassment).
  • Demonstrate refusal skills for managing peer pressure.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills.


Intended Learning Outcomes

Students will present an iMovie or Educreations on the components of healthy relationship, determine healthy ways to accept, manage, and adapt to changes in relationships, and demonstrate effective communication skills.


Instructional Procedures

  • Will go over how to use Imoive and Educreations.
  • Then split into groups of 3-4 students.
  • Each group will be choose (but they all need to be covered) of the following topics.
  • Examine components of healthy relationships.
  • Determine healthy ways to accept, manage, and adapt to changes in relationships (e.g., loss, grief, coping).
  • Develop strategies to manage inappropriate or harmful comments and advances from others (e.g. bullying, cyber-bullying, sexual harassment).
  • Demonstrate refusal skills for managing peer pressure.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills. Then the students will put an iMovie or Educreations together.
  • They will need to write a script and then present their project to the class.
  • Will have about 2 class times to work on it and then present to the class.
