UETN Engineers will be performing router maintenance at our UVU POP.
Nebo School District: 2015-10-13 @ 5:00 PM Description: The Nebo School District is having their primary internet link upgraded to 10 Gbps capacity. Two aggregation points in the district (Payson HS and Springville HS) are getting additional capacity (2Gbps) as well.
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: This maintenance will impact the Nebo School District, American Leadership Academy, and the Spanish Fork location of MATC while the primary district link is being upgraded to 10G. New equipment and additional capacity upgrades at Payson HS, and Springville HS may also interrupt traffic through large parts of the district as well.
We expect that most of the work should be able to be completed within the first hour of the maintenance window, however more time may be necessary if any problems arise.
Moderate Packet Loss at the SNOW POP: 2015-10-14 @ 10:20 AM Description: We are experiencing moderate packet-loss for sites connected to the SNOW POP. We are investigating the cause and will provide more information as it are able.
Update: We have identified a backbone circuit is the cause of the issue. Traffic has been re-routed around the problem and all services should be back to normal.
Update: This outage was resolved on time. Impact: Video and Network traffic will be imapcted.
Power failure at Dixe Pop: 2015-10-19 @ 8:00 AM Description: We experienced a power outage at our Dixie POP site. Still investigating the cause. Everything has recovered.
Update: The POP site is on generator backup, house power has been lost and is still being investigated.
We are operational, but it is degraded service.
Update: This outage was resolved on time. Impact: Everything in the St George area would have lost connectivity.
i2 Firmware upgrades: 2015-10-27 @ 2:00 AM Description: Ticket number 6034:144
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: I2 internet will be unavailable while Internet 2 Engineers perform a firmware upgrade maintenance. This maintenance is part of a larger maintenance, in which each core node will be down for approximately 30 minutes. Only one core node will be affected at a time. The entire window is reserved. All connections to the Core Node will be affected. Backbone traffic will re-route during this maintenance.
i2 Firmware upgrades: 2015-10-28 @ 2:00 AM Description: i2 rescheduled their maintenance from yesterday to today (Ticket # 6031:144).
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: Internet 2 Engineers will perform a firmware upgrade maintenance. This maintenance is part of a larger maintenance, in which each core node will be down for approximately 30 minutes. Only one core node will be affected at a time. The entire window is reserved. All connections to the Core Node will be affected. Backbone traffic will re-route during this maintenance.
CentraCom Richfield Upgrades: 2015-10-29 @ 12:00 AM Description: Ticket 20151029. Centracom is upgrading CMTS equipment in Richfield.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: We expect outage of Internet and Digital Voice services in Richfield, Elsinore, Austin, Central Valley, Annabella and Monroe during the maintenance window while crews upgrade the equipment

Normal: A planned outage, 24 hours in advance.
Urgent: A planned outage, 12 hours in advance
Emergency: Immediate outage required
Third Party Maintenance: A planned outage performed by an organization other than UEN
