UVU POP Fiber Maintenance: 2019-10-01 @ 11:00 PM Description: UEN Field Ops will be performing maintenance on fiber and optics at our UVU POP.

Utopia West Vallet: 2019-10-04 @ 1:00 AM Description: UTOPIA will be upgrading and testing power in WV003 cabinet located in West Valley UT.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: 42 customers in the WV003 footprint can expect to be without service while the equipment is rebooting.

UEN DNS web GUI - short maintenance: 2019-10-15 @ 4:00 PM Description: There will be a short one minute outage as we fail over the Infoblox HA pair nodes. The DNS service will not go down but access to the web GUI will be interrupted for about one minute during the failover. I would recommend not logging in during the maintenance time to make DNS changes or you may loose your changes.

Salt Lake Community College POP Maintenance: 2019-10-31 @ 11:00 PM Description: UETN Networking staff will be upgrading backbone hardware at the Salt Lake Community College POP (Point of Presence). These hardware upgrades will facilitate additional bandwidth, capacity, and new features

Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: This maintenance will affect all directly connected customers to the SCC POP. The following Higher Education sites and school districts may be affected: Salt Lake Community College, Western Governors, Alpine, Canyons, Granite, Jordan, Murray, and Tooele. Additionally there will be multiple charters, head starts, libraries, etc affected by the maintenance. Any customers dual homed to different POPs should fail over to secondary circuits/ paths.
Outage Types:
Outage: An observed outage, not scheduled.
Normal: A planned outage, 24 hours in advance.
Urgent: A planned outage, 12 hours in advance
Emergency: Immediate outage required
Third Party Maintenance: A planned outage performed by an organization other than UEN
